Santesu

Isola dei Nuraghi IGT

Destemming followed by a soft pressing of the grapes. The must thus obtained is cold-decanted for 12 hours. The clean fraction of the must is inoculated with selected yeasts and fermentation takes place at a temperature of 14 ° C for about 12 days. A short stay on the noble lees precedes bottling and marketing.

Deep ruby red. It is characterized by intense fruity aromas that harmonize with a delicate and pleasant scent of licorice and pipe tobacco. At the sip it is elegant and voluminous, it has a full and soft taste, with prevailing fruity sensations, to which elegant herbaceous and spicy flavors are the background. Freshness, softness, alcohol and tannins are masterfully combined.

Ruby red in color with garnet reflections. On the nose, floral, herbaceous and tar notes are accented with leather and spice. Full-bodied, dry and balanced, with supple tannins. Serve at room temperature and open bottle a couple of hours before pouring or decant ahead of time.

Carignano del Sulcis

It is obtained from Carignano vineyards with traditional breeding that express the ancient “Latin vine” low production per vine and great quality. The vinification takes place by leaving the must for several days in contact with the skin, the evolution of the wine took place with a short maturation of barriques and then a qualified refinement in glass.

Carignano del Sulcis

In the Sulcis territory, on the west coast of Sardinia, an ancient vine of long acclimatization produces a generous wine, worked by the privileged nature of the soil, rich in minerals.  Stingy water, with a sunny and windy climate.  Warm, enveloping with caressing sensations of soft tannins and ripe fruit of late autumn.  The peculiar characteristics of Carignano are enhanced in the Reserve by a long refinement.

Tommasi

Amarone della Valpolicella

Since 1902 the Tommasi family has dedicated itself to the art of viticulture in Valpolicella. The elegant ruby red wine is produced  with the indigenous grapes Corvina, Corvino, Rondinella and Oseleta, which are selected by hand and dried for about 4 months prior to being gently pressed.

The Amarone is th in Slavonian  oak barrels of 35 Hl. Best with red meats, game and aged cheese. Tommasi Amarone is also  the ideal companion to enjoyable conversation.

The Gattinara di Torraccia del Piantavigna is a powerful red wine aged for 36 months in French oak barrels. On the nose there are ripe sensations of red fruit, violet, dried rose, tobacco and licorice. Rosada is the rosé that the Cantina Sociale di Dolianova reserves for small distribution – wine bars, wine bars, restaurants and hotels, such as Prendas, Perlas, Arenada and Anzenas. Obtained exclusively from Cannonau grapes, it is a very drinkable and enjoyable Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Rosé, which can be combined with Rosé Audarya or Pala’s Chiaro di Stelle in terms of taste and smell.

The hand-harvested grapes are “softly” pressed, the must thus obtained is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature to preserve its fragrance and aromas. The wine is then kept in contact with its own yeasts for a few months before being bottled.

Vermentino, which has acclimatised well throughout Sardinia, is grown in the north-eastern corner of the Sella&Mosca estate, on ancient alluvial soil. Its very concentrated nose shows great complexity that focuses on the variety’s aromatic typicity. The palate has firm structure, with taut flickers of marine salinity backed by fruity notes in the soft finish.

Vermentino Sardegna

Capichera bottled their first Vermentino in 1980 in what was then a dramatic new style, richer and with greater ageing potential than the standard local whites. It was even described by famous Italian wine writer Luigi Veronelli as “a Mediterranean Montrachet”. Today Capichera continues to hold true to this pioneering spirit and is regarded as one of northern Sardinia’s top wineries.

Nasco di Cagliari Bianco DOC

It is produced entirely with Nasco grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. After a short cold maceration and a soft pressing, the must ferments in steel at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 2 months on the noble lees in the same containers and to a small extent in French oak barrels, before being bottled.

Isola dei Nuraghi IGT

Capichera is one of the most important and renowned Sardinian winery in Gallura, located in Arzachena, “set” among the granite rocks of the area. Despite having achieved strong commercial success, the company has remained a family business since the 1970s; its peculiarity was the intuition to enhance Vermentino in purity, sometimes vinifying in barrique and giving life to very long-lived wines capable of improving over time. Over the years the company has produced interesting wines based on red berried grapes, such as Carignano and Syrah that perfectly fit the territory.
